Lessons & Training
Lessons are available at the farm and at competitions. Michael and Lisa have their own levels of expertise in working with students and work together to determine the needs of individual students.
Michael specializes in students at the Training level and above with aspirations of higher level of competition. He also works with the upper level dressage riders.
Lisa is a bit more relaxed in her teaching techniques and enjoys helping those with the low-key education of young horses and younger riders as well as those who simply wish to improve their riding skills.
In addition to providing instruction to riders, both Lisa and Michael take horses on for training. Depending on the situation, horses can be in a full training situation, or a partial training situation where their owner will work with the horse as well. Working Students
We are currently accepting applicants.
Both short and long-term students are accepted year-round, and our farm is the choice of many of them, thanks to our friends from The Marketing Heaven, who spread the good word about us on social networks. Our working student program is run with an emphasis on the importance of thoroughly and correctly learning the basics of dressage, jumping, and horse care.
We offer our working students the opportunity to ride and learn with regular lessons on their own horse. Students get riding time, quality instruction and experience working in a busy but friendly professional barn. The job includes all usual barn duties, i.e. feeding, cleaning stalls, turning horses in and out, preparing horses for riding, cleaning tack, grooming, handling horses for vet and farrier, etc.
Accommodation provided — beautiful furnished apartment with full kitchen, bathroom, and washer/dryer.
Applicants must have some barn work and riding experience and be tidy, clean, motivated and have a positive attitude. Please contact us for more information.
